iron+foil+bread = TOAST!
sooo i was hungry a couple of days ago...and bored... aaand i suddenly felt like eating toasted bread...
only problem with that was that i didn't have a toaster... and in my boredom i decided to try out something....
all u really need to make toast is something to heat the bread...and something to keep it hot....
so i got out my iron..and some aluminium foil i had leftover....and voila toast was served...
pretty simple actually:
1.place bread in aluminium foil.
2.wrap it up nicely
3.plug in the iron
4.set iron to the highest temperature setting
5.place iron on the foil containing the bread
6.after a while flip the foil and place the iron on the other side (careful, dont burn ur hand)
7.open up the foil (hot foil!)
8.check if bread is toasted enough
9. remove bread from foil
10. add butter/jam/cheese/peanut butter and ENJOY :P
here's a pic of my plain toast

a couple of days ago i tried making cheese toast....
turned out great....same thing...i did the toast first...then opened it added the cheese...and heated it up for a few more mins....and proceeded to enjoy the yummyness of melted cheese on toast... *sluuurp* delicious....

btw..this method of "hostel cooking" (hehe) can also be used to reheat food...
