finally i can blog....noooow...just so were clear i wasnt lazy ok ( directed specifically at Susu and useless student ..haha... ) ..just that for the past one week plus my internet connection has been down thanks to the idiots at bsnl....
now on to the updates....forgotten what i wanted to blog on also...hehe...been too long...
k start from my bday ( which for those of you who forgot was on jan 11th... ps: if u forgot it then im expecting a big big present to make up for it ya...ahem sifu! wei wei! and the rest of you )
well went out for dinner on thurs nite at Sai Parivar in udupi...dinner was nice..had the whole group there...frens bought cake for me and also for lembu..thanks ppl.... here are a few pics..
after dinner...and ismails bday celebration we adjourned to premier for drinks....played a drinking game...hmmm think bob and alvin were the most smashed among the lot....
Saturday nite was the ponggal celebration at the boat club temple... got to admit the temple soo wasnt what i thought it was....expected it to be bigger and nicer...anyway..that all went well...the food was good...decor was good too...obviously rite...done by batch 17, surely good wan!!!!
After ponggal went to blues...was still in a bday celebrating mood....had drinks and danced and talked....that was fun...had about...hmmm 6 glasses of whisky (1 blender sprite, 1 blender on the rocks and 4 JD on the rocks) before susu and andrew showed up...which was only about a couple of hrs.....then alllll of them decided to buy me drinks...oh what wonderful frens i have huh! nooo their evil, the only intention they had was to get me drunk.... and i know there are lots of ppl there just waiting excitedly for me to say this...so yea ill say it....i got pissed drunk! ...and since i dont remember leaving the club or anything until the following morning..this is all i can blog on this topic.....

bday present from me to myself...hahaha...shuush ...dont tell my parents k....kena bunuh after!!!! and if ur wondering no i dont plan to keep it pink...
now...on to the next event....tuesday evening was the last football training before the interbatch competition on saturday....there were a bunch of tempes there (locals to those of u not from manipal) so we decided fine since they wanted to play too we would play against them... just as the game was about to kick off we saw something to slithering towards the center of the field....low and behold it was a cobra! now its not everyday we see cobras here although manipal may be like a mini animal planet...anyways we were all admiring the snake until it went off the field....little did we realise the snake was a bad bad bad sign..... soo the game started...things went well at first...we put in 2 goals...then i remember some one said eh i think the snake was a good luck charm, we should make it our mascot...we had a good laugh about that....fuuuu big mistake...little did we know the snake was to be the opposite....first casualty of the bad omen?? yours truly...was running for the ball when one of the tempes clipped my leg from behind...down i went at full speed....slammed my left shoulder and continued to skid for a while....now this wouldnt be a big deal if its a proper field...but nooo ..we are in india ppl....the area i fell at has no grass what so ever...its purely stones....so i ended up looking like i fell from my bike!! here are some shots (viewer discretion advised)
then the next casualty...none other than bob.....he and the tempe tried heading the ball but headed each other....that spilt open bobs left eyebrow....blood poured out like a tap...took him to the hospital and got it sutured....well ppl thats 2/11 down....but it didnt stop there...nooooo...
that nite while running away from milk...yeah milk...Ho went tumbling and injured himself as bad as i did.... 3 down..... yes theres more.... then steven decided to play bball...and what should happen ??? he sprained his ankle and it was put in a cast.... thats 4 of the starting line up injured or out of the game totally.... sooooo not hard to deduce that we lost our first game....disappointing....was 3-2... anyway good job everyone...we shall try agn next year...
oh and a big big big congrats to the guys bball team for winning the gold!!!
welll think ill stop here...annual nite is tommorrow, then ill be going to Goa (agn) for a short hol....will blog agn after that!!!!!

Bye Bye 2006 ...helloooooo 2007
A slightly belated Happy new year to all of u who i (unintentionally) forgot to wish and those of you who i could not wish cus i dont have your contact numbers....
i guess for this type of post around this time of year ppl usually recap the past year...all the things that happened... but unfortunately i cant remember much of what happened the whole year...blame 2nd yr of med school for that, i think i had to stuff sooooo much of information into my brain that all those memories which were not need to pass the exams just got shoved out..
well i think ill do an easier version of it...ill just give an overall diagnosis (fuuu diagnosis konon!!) of how the year went...
so how did 2006 do for me...well..i guess it wasnt a good year overall.... its wasnt all bad of course...there are loads of good memories...but due to stuff that happened i cant honestly say that it was a good year...
its funny how 1 event can lead to the whole year going from good to bad...but it does...
oh well its in the past now....brooding over it isnt going to change it...
SO... now on to the new year....the first events of the new year was...haha..touching to say the least....but i better shuush cus if i type it here i would probably be slaughtered by a particular person ....anyway i had fun that nite...
what did i do on new years morning and afternoon????
well like any other med student being tortured in manipal i sat and did my assignment in the morning....and just in case thats not med student-ish enough for u...i went to observe an autopsy in the afternoon....yup...first day of the new year n i watch a person getting sliced open.. was a new year nite accident....severe internal head injuries....
at nite we had futsal competition.....which i fucked up 2 of the games..shit how could i miss that penalty...it was sooo close to entering ....damm....and the next game urs truly conceded the penalty pulak...aiyo...shit...if not we could have drew that game..... sorry guys...
the competition was continued today nite....both teams failed to qualify for the finals....anyway great job guys....we will get them next time....
