well ...was suppose to go to coorg for this weekend...but that plan tak jadi as all n i mean all the hotels there were fully booked....
so ended up spending it in manipal...sad i know..but wasnt that bad..
SATURDAY
woke up late...not sure y...cant remember what i did on friday nite ( i was not having a hangover or anything k....we did not drink the nite b4) ....after waking up..i think around 10 or 11... and after a bath...we departed for Kundapur, its a town near manipal...about 1 1/2 hrs by bus...the reason for going there...
TO EAT THE FAMOUS GHEE ROAST CHICKEN!!!!!!
wah it was worth the trip there...the chicken was mouth wateringly delicious!!!!!!! had to call n order in advance also cus it takes an hour to cook it... oh and its a whole chicken..now needless to say after lunch i was trully stuffed...now i know how a turkey feels on thanksgiving...
slept like a baby on the bus trip back.... when we reached back, me ruben n taran decided that the bus trip was too tiring n we needed to relax...so went for a massage in valley view hotel....i think i got a promotional package...cus the way the guy was massaging im pretty sure i got a massage as well as body n leg hair removal as well....hahaha... oh for those of you who find my hair sexy n manly dont worry i still got somemore left....LOL... and thanks to the olive oil they used i ended up with a cool hairstyle...
SUNDAY
sunday afternoon me n taran cooked maggi goreng...had to experiment with it a little cus we ran out of the proper seasoning...ended up making masala maggi goreng (tempe giler!!) ... oh and i made bbq flavoured hotdogs as well (that taste goooood...got to make it agn)...
at nite we had Justins xmas party....that was fun...food was good....and i got a present too....its a hand puppet Garfield...
MONDAY
monday morning i cooked bfast.... made fried butter bread....sooo long since i made that.... a simple yet daammm sedap dish....
rest of the day was pretty much normal....slept a lot...hehe...

The first block exam of 2nd yr came and went....and my overall comment on the exam is...

paper 1 = Holy shitzels batman! bloody hell, now to be entirely honest the paper wasnt thaaat hard IF and i mean IF i had started studying earlier...but as it stands i forgot sooo many things..
paper 2 = hard but a biiiit easier than than paper 1
microbiology :
paper 1 = finally a paper i did not find that hard...was ok ok ...pass-able
paper 2 = thought this one was good also...
forensic medicine :
aaaah i loved this paper soooooooooooooo much...only started studying the nite before...n finished the paper in about 40 mins...now why arent all the papers like this one? life would be soo much easier....
practicals :
all in all the practicals were satisfactory....nothing to complain about..
Not much rest after the exams were over cus had to get rubens bday present done by 12 that nite....the present was a video of our batchmates each giving him a bday greeting in their own way(this was done as he cant celebrate his bday this yr)...the idea was from taran...but i did most of the work...haha..she said so herself....anyway with all the hiccups we had along the way and the time constraint we had due to exams, i think the video turned out great...hope u liked it ruben, if u dont, tooo bad u got to act like u like it for all the trouble i had to go through to get it done...

aaah... finally... it seems for the past week whenever i feel like blogging either something comes up or my internet goes whacko...
so my useless student who keeps asking me why i didnt update..there is ur reason...happy now??? hehe...
oh well...lets see now...what happened since dec 3rd....
shit i really shouldnt leave too long gaps in between...forgotten a lot of stuff aldy..
ooo yea...won 2nd plc for potpurri (dont know how they actually spell it)...and no its not a
competition where u make fragrant dried flowers....the game consist of 2 rounds...round 1 is written and is made up of 10 unscramble the letters to get a word..10 anagrams...1 sudoku puzzle (lucky we has sudoku sifu ruben in the team for this one) and 5 five word ladder. From the 20 plus teams 6 with the highest score got into the 2nd round (we got the highest score...yay yay..hahaha). k so round 2 consist of 4 games = charade, pictionary, taboo n 20 questions....
now ...for the reason i said we should have gotten 1st... for charades (movie titles) my team got philadelphia...how in then freaking universe do you act out philadelphia?????? its not possible...its unfair to put in stuff which you cant act out...if anyone knows how to act this out...do pls let me know k =)
also got the answer to my own question (how do you decide on something that you dont want to decide on in the first place?? ) ...the answer....simple....you just have to do it...make that decision, go with it, n pray n hope that u made the right decision and that its the best option for all involved....i still dont know if it is...but i do hope so...if it isnt...im sorry things have turned out this way....but it cant be changed .....
i know most of you are going "What in blue blazes is this fella babbling about?" well this last part is actually specifically for the person involved...so the rest of you ...blek! dont sibuk sibuk ok...

I accept ur apology, as i have the ones b4 this. But, whats done is done, and just like how no amount of sorry is going to change how u are feeling, no amount of words or apologies will change what happened or change how i feel about it or make it any easier for me to forget. Its done and its impossible to turn back time no matter how much u wish it, so there is no point thinking about that. Guess there is a reason they say action speaks louder than words. I know u didnt intend for things to end up like this but they did, theres nothing more to do than to accept it. And i realise things will never be the same between us, what happened will always affect me in some way,i cant change that no matter how hard i try, and its near impossible to revert back to any stage before all this.... regardless of how over all of it i may be. tis type of people...from a psychological way...they are trying to protect themselves from being hurt....so they lie...they cant help but keep on lying...
now im not talking about anyone or any situation in particular k...so dont get offended ya..... it just that this statement seems damm true to me....i wouldnt say it applies to all situations...as always there are exceptions to things...but overall, generally, i think it hits the nail smack on the head....u may not think u are lying to protect ur self from hurt, heck u may have the most noble intentions...u may think ur saving some else from hurt....but u know, i think, subconsciously the main reason is to save urself... its human nature anyway...we all have this innate evolutionary instinct to protect ourself from being hurt...be it physical or emotional....survival of ones self over others....
and yeah a lie does breed more lies....for the simple fact, or at least in my opinion, that once u lie..it becomes near impossible to rectify it without getting hurt yourself as well as of course without hurting the one u lied to....and the more u lie the harder it becomes...so the easiest solution becomes to just keep lying....

well....nothing much really been going on i guess...mostly normal stuff like classes n all....
oh last saturday was the volleyball competition...or at least it was suppose to be on saturday.. we were suppose to play batch 19....buuuuut....the batch 16 agaisnt 15 game started late due to inconsiderate ppl who dont know what punctuality means...aiii...anyway to cut short the story...due to this by the time they finished it was aldy too late to start our game cus it would get dark b4 we finish (stupid indian courts got no lights one)...so our game got postponed to sun morning....which meant if we won we would have to play agn in the evening for the finals...we won the morning game...but we soooo got our asses whooped in the finals...anyway second plc is not bad...and we are still going to be defending champs next yr anyway =)
N me being my usual unlucky self i actually strained my left *what i believe to be* trapezius muscle...in laymen terms i was having a shitload of pain in the region of my left shoulder blade....played both the games with it...which made it even worse of course....im just stubborn n hard headed n dont know when to stop....if my mum heard this i wouldnt hear the end of it....
anyway rest of the week was pretty normal...didnt play much sports so my shoulder blade would heal....finally opened the box of cookies my mum sent....yummy!
now what else....oh ya....forensic lect lately has been riddled with weird stuff that made me laugh...
for eg..
1) we are learning about the study of death...and the topic was on brain stem dead or brain dead....and the lect was explaining about how to go about examining some1 before u can certify a person as brain dead....so we are suppose to test a few reflexs...2 of which were light reflex and corneal reflex....he then proceeds to tell us the procedure to elicit the reflex...
light reflex = ask the patient to hold his hand in the form of a partition in front of his nose... then shine a light into the eye to be tested and observe for constriction of the pupils...then do the same on the other eye
corneal reflex = ask the patient to look into the distance...then gently touch the cornea with a wisp of cotton and observe for blinking....then do the same on the other eye...
ok! now anyone who realizes the huge ass mistake in those to procedures kindly raise ur hand and let me know....dont know?? well let me tell u...firstly if u are doing this to determine if a patient is brain dead or not....then obviously he has to be in a comatose state first doesnt he....and how in the world are u going to get a comatose patient to put his hand as a partition or look into the distance!!!!!!!
2) the topic was post mortem (after death) changes.....
the first category was immediate changes (happens within 30 mins) which included
a. no eeg waves
b. cessation of respiration
c. cessation of circulation
now the (a) i found logical....but (b) n (c) ??? shouldnt that be something that happens at death..not after death...if he has respiration n circulation then his not dead is he??

today evening went to play sepak takraw at nehru...was playing when the ball went near a drain near one of the rooms...when i bent down to pick up the ball...all of a sudden a cat jumped out at me from a tiny hole above the rooms window n then ran away....we were wondering what the cat was doing in there....peeped into the hole...and low and behold... kittens!!!!!!
took a couple of pics...the weird thing was...before that we were just talking bout how we dont see many cats around in manipal (which is a good thing...im soooo not a cat person)
