last saturday morning was a holiday....classes were cancelled because everyone was busy with the preparations for the college annual nite..will talk about that later...anyway saturday morning woke up early...then went to Charaka canteen tapau bombay toast (which is actually just french toast)...then took auto to endpoint football field to watch the interbatch mens football final between my batch (batch 17) and batch 15.....couldnt not join the game cus my damm ankle was still not recovered since i sprained it during volleyball...anyway...game was quite good...but unfortunately we lost by 1 goal....the weather on the other hand wasnt as good..was soooo freaking hot...seriously i think we all came back roasted....the heat gave me a terrible head ache as well....the best part is its not the hot season yet...it gets hotter next year....cant wait for that *note the heavy sarcasm here*....had a nice nap in the afternoon (made full use of my aircond...hehehe)....so then evening got dressed up in my new kurta (my first kurta actually)
for the annual nite, which is basically like hari anugerah cemerlang back in school, except here we get a buffet dinner after and we dont have to wear uniforms...annual nite was ok ok lah ....had performances and all....best performance and the one everyone was waiting for was the performance by the lecturers...they male lecturers all did a dance performance..was really nice...interesting to watch the lecturers let loose....

after the annual nite a group of us went down to Malpe beach where we stayed the night at a guest house...actually didnt spend much time in the guest house...we were outside the whole nite and morning BBQing....was fun to relax without having to worry about any test or exams to come...didnt get a wink of sleep that day....next morning we reached campus at around 10 in the morning....went for brunch at Shackpoint...had nasi lemak....taste nice but still not the same as back home..sigh...cant wait for feb 4th ...thats gonna be my breakfast on the way back from the airport.....
the rest of the week was pretty much normal...classes and all that....
sat was another holiday cus of preparations for lagenda (the college's annual malaysian cultural fest)...but unfortunately wasnt as free this time...cus still had an hour of physiology SDL (self directed learning) evaluation...after that we felt "rajin" so after breakfast at charaka canteen went to the clinical skills lab to practice blood pressure taking....ended up taking a few pics and fooling around after a while :)
after lunch frens wanted to watch american pie 4 ...so all came over to my room cus wanted to use my speaker...was a nice movie...funny....halfway through the movie my dad called to say they reached manipal aldy and were at the hotel having lunch...after the movie walked to the hotel...as soon as i walked into the restaurant the first thing i heard was omg he so thin aldy ....and note that everytime i hear that nowadays its always with the worried tone...like im sick or not eating properly...haha...if only ppl can see how much more im eating and snacking here compared to back home...really amazing that im losing weight instead of putting on ...only thing keeping me from getting worried is that all my frens here are losing weight as well...anyway..spend the afternoon and evening talking with my family...dad,mum,bro,2 aunts, uncle and 2 cousins came...this is their last stop on the way back home...they went on a tour of north india ...visited delhi, jaipur and agra if im not mistaken...anyway at night went back to the hostel to get some of my stuff and also deposit the stuff my parents brought from home....then stopped by the KMC greens to watch a bit of the lagenda...ask my fren to video tape it so i can see...just watched the clips just now...was very nice....
took my family out for dinner at Guzzler Inn...which is the only restaurant i know here which is both clean and has very good food....spent the night in the hotel ....
next day took my parents for breakfast at pangal's...and then to see my hostel room....in the afternoon took my whole family for a tour of the campus...which wasnt a very long tour as i have said in previous post there isnt much to see here in manipal...was sooooo hot...so decided to stop by the library building and have some cold drinks n cold coffee at coffea day (kinda like starbucks in india)...
after cooling down with some refreshing beverages took them to the anatomy museum....then went back to the hotel ...relax and enjoyed watching tv...dont get to watch much tv nowadays...gosh miss my tv back home....should have watched waaaaayyyyy more tv before i came....must make a note to replenish my tv hours during the one month break....oh ..must mention also...got quite a few phone calls also that day from someone who wanted to keep kacauing me....u know who u are...naughty naughty :)
had dinner with my family at the hotel restaurant called rangoli...food was ok ...at least got to spend some time with my family....left them around 10.30pm....they left for chenai today morning...should still be in chenai now...flying back home at 2am tuesday morning...hope they have a nice flight back home...
well its late aldy...think i better stop blabbering now and go study for a while (see rajin hor ......hehehe)
oh before i forget ...to all my frens here and back home, would like to wish u all a Very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.....warmest wishes and best of luck for the festive season and the coming new year....miss u ppl ....good nite!
