Update
well life has pretty much been boring since i came back from Korea... nothing much to do really...most of my friends have either started uni or are busy studying....miss everyone... cant wait to start uni.. at least then i'll have something to occupy myself with... of course with starting uni comes the realization that i'll be leaving here for 21/2 yrs ..... sigh... well i guess it was my choice and my dream so i shouldnt complain much...haha...Anyway last saturday night i went to the KL Performing Arts Centre in Sentul West to watch a musical which my nephew was acting in called Jalan Impian..... here's a little synopsis:friends Joe and Suzie want to be stars: Joe the pop singer, Suzie the Baryshnikov-esque dancer. But they can't afford classes at the Stars of Tomorrow School of Stage and Screen. That is, until fate lends a helping hand. Also with drug-dealer thugs, nerd, and homeless women.
Written by Sandra Sodhy, based on an idea by Farah Sulaiman. With choreography by Farah Sulaiman. Featuring Peter Ong, Radhi Khalid, Tony Eusoff, Omar Arif, Sabrina Hassan, and Sandra Sodhy backing a main cast of nearly 50 kids between ages 8 - 18.
Under the patronage of YAB Tun Dato Seri Dr Siti Hasmah, supported by the Ministry of Education Malaysia, being a fund-raiser for Persatuan Kanak-kanak Istimewa Hulu Langat.I must say i really enjoyed the show, bravo to all the performers, they did an excellent job and deserved the standing ovation they received...Radhi Khalid was really hillarious...and so was Peter Ong and Tony Eusoff. A very enjoyable evening.... after the show we went to the opening of the new Lotus Restaurant near Maju Junction (free makan courtesy of the owner).... felt really really bloated after dinner...Sunday was the selection for the KL team..... congratulations to Leow, shazwan and mas on being selected into the KL Team.....make our academy proud....not bad leh..finally the academy is coming up .... we now have 3 players in the KL Team and 2 players in the National Squad....Big Thank you to Master Ramli as well for his excellent coaching skills....."The indispensable first step to getting the things you want out of life is this: decide what you want."- Ben Stein
